Campeonato Sudamericano de Clubes
The Americas Cup champions - Portuguese Copa Sul - Americanos dos Champ, Spanish Campeonato Sudamericano de Campeones Clubes - is a first time in 1946 and since 1968 each year with registered competition of the best basketball club teams from South America. Qualified are the national champion and the defending champion. The organizer is the Association FIBA Americas.
The eight participating teams can be found in the venue, or the venues and are divided into two groups of four. After everyone has played in a simple round each against each bear the first and second placed teams from the group of semi-finals, the winners of which in turn determine the contest winner in a final.
