Carlos Pena, Jr.
Carlos Roberto Pena Junior ( born August 15, 1989 in Columbia, Missouri) is an American actor, dancer and singer. He gained the most notoriety through his career with Big Time Rush.
Life and career
Carlos Pena grew up in Weston on in the U.S. state of Florida. His mother is from the Dominican Republic and his father from Venezuela. His first experience as an actor made Pena already as a guest performer in a number of television series such as ER - The ER, Ned's Declassified School and Summerland Beach.
Pena became famous by the Nickelodeon series Big Time Rush, where he played from 2009 to 2013 the lead role as Carlos Garcia. Since 2009 he is also lead singer of the eponymous band Big Time Rush.
In September 2013 he became engaged to actress Alexa Vega. The couple married on January 4, 2014 in Mexico, Puerto Valletta.
