Geography

Cavalier is located in northeastern North Dakota on the Tongue River, a left tributary of the Red River of North, which forms the border with Minnesota. The geographical coordinates are 48 ° 47'43 Cavalier " north latitude and 97 ° 37'24 " west longitude. The city covers an area of 2.12 km ².
