Cedar Grove is an unincorporated community ( unincorporated area) in Bay County in the U.S. state of Florida.

Geography

Cedar Grove is adjacent to the cities of Panama City, Lynn Haven and Springfield and is located approximately 130 kilometers west of Tallahassee. The place is out of the U.S. Highways 231 (SR 75) and 98 ( SR 30A ) and the Florida State Roads 389 and 390 crosses.

History

Cedarg Grove was from 1951 to 2008 an independent city (town ). A referendum approved with effect from October 22, 2008, however, for the resolution of the municipality. Since Cedar Grove is also managed directly by the County.
