Charbonnières- les- Sapins is a commune in the French department Doubs in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Charbonnières- les- Sapins is located on 541 m above sea level, 10 km west of Valdahon and about 17 km southeast of the city of Besançon (air line). The village is located in the Jura, in the west of the plateau of Valdahon, north of Taleinschnitts the Ruisseau de la Brême.

History

In the Middle Ages Charbonnières one of Ornans. Together with the Franche -Comté reached the village with the Peace of Nijmegen in 1678 to France.
