Chengdong District

Chengdong (城东 区; Pinyin: CHENGDONG Qū; " Oststadt " ) is a municipality of the prefecture-level city of Xining, capital of Qinghai province. It has an area of 114.6 km ² and has 250,000 inhabitants ( end of 2010).

Administrative Divisions

The municipality is composed of seven road districts and two large communities. These are:

• Road district Dongguan Dajie (东 关 大街 街道), seat of city district government;
• Road district Bayilu (八一路 街道);
• Road district Dazhongjie (大众 街 街道);
• Road district Huochezhan (火车站 街道);
• Road district Linjiaya (林 家崖 街道);
• Road district Qingzhenxiang (清真 巷 街道);
• Road district Zhoujiaquan (周家泉 街道);
• Greater community Lejiawan (乐 家 湾镇);
• Greater community Yunjiakou (韵 家 口镇).
