Chengxi District

Chengxi (城西 区, Chengxi Qū, West City ') is a municipality of the prefecture-level city of Xining, capital of Qinghai province. It has an area of 79 km ² and has 210,000 inhabitants ( 2004).

Administrative Divisions

The municipality is composed of five road districts and a large community. These are:

• Road district Xiguan Dajie (西 关 大街 街道), seat of city district government;
• Road district Guchengtai (古城 台 街道);
• Hu Tai Road neighborhood (虎 台 街道);
• Road district Shenglilu (胜利 路 街道);
• Road district Xinghailu (兴 海路 街道);
• Greater community Pengjiazhai (彭家 寨镇).

At the census in 2000, the municipality had 225 412 inhabitants Chengxi.
