Choi Chol-su

Choi Chol -su (born 1 December 1969) is a former North Korean boxer.

At the 1991 World Championships in Sydney southpaw Choi took the second place, he lost the final against Hungary István Kovács. In 1992 he won first a bronze medal in the Asian Championships in Bangkok and then defeated in his participation in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, ​​the World and European champions in the final Kovács and the Cubans Raúl González and was Olympic champion in the flyweight. Choi was the second North Korean Olympic champion in boxing after Gu Yong -ju 1976.
