Collecchio
Collecchio is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 14,110 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Parma, in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 10 kilometers southwest of Parma on taro.
The community is one of the sport bases of Parma. 1991 Collecchio was a stage of the Giro d' Italia. The community became known as the seat of the food company Parmalat, the 2003/2004 went bankrupt and since 2005 has worked as a public company in the grocery store again.
Traffic
The municipality is crossed by the Strada Statale 62 A train station is each in the capital and in Ozzano Taro on the train route from Parma to La Spezia ( ferrovia Pontremolese ).
