Noceto

NOCETO is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 12,895 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Parma, in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 11 kilometers west of Parma on taro. To the east of the municipality lies the Parco Regionale del Taro Fluvial.

Sports

The Rugby NOCETO Football Club is a successful Rugby Club and plays in the Italian League.

Community partnerships

NOCETO maintains a partnership with the U.S. city of Walnut Creek, California (since 1987), with the French community Noyers -sur -Serein in the Yonne department (since 1990) and with the Moldovan city Cricova in Munizip Chisinau ( since 2000).

Traffic

Parallel to the river course of the Taro here runs the Autostrada A15 Parma Tuscany direction to the Gulf of Genoa. The church crosses in west-east direction, the Strada Statale 9 Via Emilia, which is modeled on the former course of the Via Emilia. On the railway line Fidenza - Fornovo di Taro is a train station.
