Come Clarity (original name: Crawl Through Knives ) is the eighth album by the melodic death metal band In Flames. The album was released on February 3, 2006 in Europe by Nuclear Blast and on February 7 in the U.S. through Ferret Records after earlier release dates had to be postponed.

Genesis

The production was taken over for the third time in a row by Daniel Berg beach. In Flames, however, produced the guitars and the bass itself The final mix was done in the studio sound in northern Sweden, Anders Friden monitored the process.

Originally, the album Crawl Through Knives should be called. The band describes their style as consistent development. On Come Clarity, the band tried to be guided by previous recordings, yet to take new images with the music.

In the song Dead End, the Swedish singer Lisa Miskovsky is involved. It is the fifth song of the band's history, in which a female voice is heard. The precursors are Everlost Pt. 2 and In Flames Lunar Strain, Whoracle by the eponymous album and Metaphor of Reroute to Remain.

Special Edition

The special edition of the album includes a bonus DVD with studio recordings, where the band played the whole album except for the last song. However, the audio recordings are not live but merely defines the ordinary recordings with video recordings. The DVD also contains a gallery of photos of the recording sessions of Come Clarity.

Achievements

Come Clarity rose in the German charts at number 6. It was the highest chart entry to date for the band. In the U.S. album charts, the album debuted at # 58 and was sold in the first week almost 25,000 times and 50,000 times in the first month. Meanwhile, the album has sold more than 100,000 copies in the U.S.. Both for In Flames as well as for Ferret Records Come Clarity is the most successful album. The band won so the Swedish " Grammis Award" in the category " Best Hard Rock". The readers of Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet Come Clarity chose the best album by a Swedish band of the 2000s.

The second single is a limited 7 " vinyl single. It was published on 13 December 2006 about the company Black Lodge and reached number 52 in the Swedish Singles Chart.
