Commodore 64 Games System

The Commodore 64 GS ( = Game System ) was to market in 1987, the trial of Commodore, the successful model C64 as a game console. To this end, the conventional inner workings of the C64 was modified and transplanted into a console box with upper module slot. Since you only could use modules with the C64 GS and the unit still was almost as expensive despite the lack of keyboard and limited connectivity options like a real C64, the device flopped.
