Cosmic Gate was founded in 1997 DJ project of Stefan Bossems ( born February 27, 1967 in Mönchengladbach ) aka DJ Bossi and Claus Terhoeven ( born November 10, 1972 in Duisburg ) aka Nic Chagall.

Stefan Bossems aka DJ Bossi
Stefan Bossems has worked as a DJ since 1986, he was resident DJ in the Glass Palace in Dinslaken.
Claus aka Nic Chagall Terhoeven
Claus Terhoeven has worked as a DJ since 1989, including as a resident DJ in the nightclub Gelderner E -Dry. He is also a founding member of the Essential DJ Team.
Band History
The duo met in 1997 by accident in the offices of a German record label know. In the following period it contributed significantly to the musical history of the past decade and created with also some hits that had success around the world. Today, Cosmic Gate are one of the best known and most successful DJ duos in the world. On "The DJ List", an Internet directory of the hottest DJs in the world, you chose her number 23 and for 3 years in a row, they have a fixed regular place in the DJ Mag Top 100, the Who 's Who of the most successful DJs in the world.
Productions such as " The Drums ", " Back To Earth ", "Exploration of Space", "The Truth ," " Raging " or " Fire Wire " come from her pen.
With a total of seven Top 40 chart singles and two successful chart albums - " Rhythm & Drums " and " No more Sleep" - the DJ duo was represented in Germany in the official Media Control charts. Meanwhile, there are also a number of Cosmic Gate remixes, inter alia, for Tiësto (Urban Train), Ferry Corsten ( Punk), Blank & Jones (DFF ), Svenson & Gielen ( Answer the Question), Vanessa Mae ( White Bird ), etc..
In summer 2005, published Cosmic Gate " Back 2 Back Vol 2 ", the second part of their own mix compilation series, at the world's leading trance label Black Hole Recordings.
