Already on his first studio album Firewater of 2000, the texts themselves are reflected and process their own experiences, but also classic hip-hop part with representer and Battle Tracks is available. Curse raps often about failed love affairs and confesses himself also an error. The beats on fire water, as well as many other publications are produced for the most part by Sascha Busy Bühren. The beats of the latest publications, however, including from the album deluge, mainly come from Seven and Claud.

Change to more instruments

On his third album, Homeland Security, 2003, the style of music changed in some aspects: While the beats were mostly made on the previous albums electronically, can be found on Homeland Security a wider range of instruments: from sophisticated instrumental with classical flutes ( I understand you ) over the crossover song shock therapy until very emotional and what about now?, a piano ballad, there is a wide range of musical variation which accompanies the mostly very profound lyricism and highlights. Also, an increasing number of political and socio-critical texts is mostly seen from left-wing perspective, with Curse not neglected his 'old' topics. In this context, the single resistor with the German reggae artist Gentleman emerged. The Single And what about now? was the biggest commercial success of homeland security.

Also as far as his work with emerging talents Curse has made a name.
