Dacian CioloÈ™

Dacian Cioloş ( born July 27, 1969 in Zalău ) is a Romanian agricultural engineer and a non-party politician. He is currently responsible for the area of ​​agriculture and rural development in the European Commission.

Life

After graduation Cioloş studied at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj / Cluj- Napoca and graduated in 1994 with a degree in Civil Engineering from the garden. After various internships and graduate studies in France, he received his doctorate in economics at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Agronomique in Montpellier. From 2002 to 2003 he worked as a Task Manager for Agriculture and Rural Development at the EU Delegation in Romania.

Since January 2005, he worked in the Romanian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, October 2007 to December 2008 he held the office of minister in the liberal -dominated Cabinet Tăriceanu II 2010, he was dominated by the conservative government of Emil Boc as a member of the Barroso II Commission proposed.

Political positions
