Danau Sentarum National Park

The National Park Danau Sentarum is located on the island of Borneo in the Indonesian province of West Kalimantan. The system of lakes, swamps and dry forests of Danau Sentarum forms one of the largest and most important freshwater wetlands of Asia. The water system of the National Park is connected with that of the Kapuas, the longest river in Indonesia.

In the park around 250 species of fish, including the Asian Forkbeard and the loach live.
