Daniel Morad

Daniel Morad ( born April 24, 1990 in Markham, Ontario ) is a Canadian racing driver. In the A1GP he went to a Lebanese racing license.

Career

Morad started his motorsport career in 1998 in karting, where he was active until 2005. Among other things, he won the 2005 Canadian Karting Championship. In 2006 he moved to Formula racing and launched in the U.S. Formula BMW, which he finished in sixth place overall. He was also master of the Bridgestone F2000 Racing Series. 2007 remained Morad in the U.S. Formula BMW and secured with six wins the championship title with a clear lead on Esteban Gutierrez and Alexander Rossi.

In 2008 he moved into the Atlantic Championship and played a large part of the season in this series. At the end of the season, he finished twelfth overall. In the winter of 2008/2009 started Morad, who was in his career so far always competed with Canadian racing license, the only driver for A1 Team Lebanon in the A1GP series. At the end of the season the team finished in 17th place overall. In the rest of the season the Canadians received no cockpit and returned to karting.

2010 started Morad for Status Grand Prix in the GP3 Series. He won a race and finished the season in twelfth place in the drivers' standings. In 2011 he first took part in three Carlin for GP3 race weekends. He had no points and finished in 33rd place overall. After the end of his GP3 engagements he entered for Team Moore Racing at a race weekend of the Indy Lights. It was an eleventh place his best result.
