Daniele Conti

Daniele Conti ( born January 9, 1979 in Nettuno ) is an Italian footballer who plays mainly in the midfield. He is since 1999 Cagliari Calcio under contract by which he plays in Serie A.

Career

Conti started his career at AS Roma, where he first came into use in various youth teams. For the 1996/97 season Conti was first used in the professional team. After three years at AS Roma, where he was used only five times, he moved to Cagliari Calcio. For Cagliari for twelve years, he is now actively promoted and there by appearances for record players of the club.

He was appointed in 1999 and 2000, a total of four times in the Italian U-21 national team and was born on 16 August 2000 friendly against Mexico to its only use for the Azzurrini.

Family

Conti is the son of former players of AS Roma Bruno Conti. His brother, Andrea Conti is also a professional footballer and currently plays for AC Bellinzona in Switzerland.
