Dębina, Prudnik County

Dambine (Polish: Dębina ) is a town in Upper Silesia. Dambine located in the municipality Zülz ( Biała) in Prudnicki powiat (district Neustadt OS) in the Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Geographical Location

Dambine is located seven kilometers northeast of the municipal center Zülz, 17 kilometers northeast of the county town of Prudnik ( Neustadt OS ) and 30 kilometers south of the Opole voivodship ( Opole ).

History

The village was founded around 1760 and was first mentioned in 1784.

In 1936 the town was renamed in small oak trees. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Dębina and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship and since 1999 he is part of the powiat Prudnicki. On 6 March 2006 the German Dambine was in the community Zülz, plays, introduced as a second official language. On 24 November 2008, the City also received the official German place names Dambine.
