Laskowiec, Opole Voivodeship

Laskowiec ( German: hazel Vorwerk ) is a town in Upper Silesia. Laskowiec located in the municipality Zülz ( Biała) in Prudnicki powiat (district Neustadt OS) in the Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Laskowiec is located seven kilometers west of the parish seat Zülz seven kilometers north of the county town Prudnik ( Neustadt OS) and 41 kilometers southwest of the Opole voivodship ( Opole ).

Neighboring towns of Laskowiec in the West Rudziczka ( Rieger village), in the northeast Kohldorf ( Kolnowice ) and Mühlsdorf ( Milowice ), to the east United Pramsen ( Prężyna ) and in the south Czyżowice ( Zeiselwitz ).

History

The town was founded in the early 19th century and was first mentioned in 1830 as hazel Vorwerk.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 Hazel Vorwerk was outside the voting area. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Laskowiec and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship and since 1999 he is part of the powiat Prudnicki. On 6 March 2006 German was in the community Zülz who belongs Laskowiec, introduced as a second official language. While on 24 November 2008, most larger towns also received an official German place names in the community, remained without Laskowiec German name.
