Dukovany

Dukovany ( German: Dukowan ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located in South Moravia 12 km northwest of the city Moravian Krumlov ( Moravian Kromau ). The place belongs to the Okres Třebíč ( Trebitsch ) in Kraj Highlands.

Known primarily was the place by the nuclear power plant and the repository Dukovany. These facilities are located in the corridors of the former villages Heřmanice, Lipňany and Skryje.
