Ebba Jungmark

Ebba Jung Mark ( born March 10, 1987 in Onsala ) is a Swedish high jumper.

Young Mark played until 2003 football and handball at Onsala BK before she turned athletics. At the Track Junior World Championships in 2006 in Beijing, she was fifth in the high jump. The following year she won the U23 European Championships in Debrecen the bronze medal and competed at the World Championships in Osaka, but where they failed to qualify for the final.

2008 Junior Mark went on to Washington State University and won right away at the Indoor Championships of the NCAA. However, you missed a large part of the outdoor season due to a stress fracture in the foot and eventually returned to Sweden. The European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona they could not qualify for the final,. But the following year she succeeded at the European Indoor Championships in Paris, the most important success to date her career when she behind the Italian Antonietta Di Martino and the Spaniard Ruth Beitia won the bronze medal with skipped 1.96 m.

At the World Indoor Championships in 2012 Jung Mark won the silver medal. In the outdoor season, she was at the European Championships in ten. At the Olympic Games in London, she was eliminated in the qualifying.

In March 2013, it won the silver medal in the high jump at the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2013 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Ebba Jung Mark starts for the Mölndals AIK and is coached by Emil Predan and Johnny Holm.
