Even in the Quietest Moments ... is the fifth studio album by British Pop-/Rockband Supertramp and the name of a song that plate. As on the previous album " Crisis? What ' Crisis ", which appeared in 1975, the group acted in the recording of the album in its classic lineup - for the third time in the band's career. It was released in April of 1977 and was very successful.

Description

For recording the LP "Even in the Quietest Moments ... " the group Supertramp came ( for the third time ) in their success together Cast: Rick Davies ( keyboards, vocals ), John Helliwell ( wind instruments, vocals), Roger Hodgson ( guitars, keyboards, vocals), Bob Siebenberg (drums, percussion) and Dougie Thomson (bass guitar). So the band was still active as a quintet. Gary Mielke ( Oberheim Programming) supported them.

"Even in the Quietest Moments ... " was the first Supertramp album, which was produced together with the engineer Peter Henderson, who supported the band in the next two very successful studio albums. It was first within a few months Supertramp's gold album ( 500,000 copies sold).

All songs were composed by Davies and Hodgson and texted, who sang their works each self. Outstanding songs on the record are derived from Hodgson hit single " Give A Little Bit " which the group secured the commercial breakthrough in the U.S. and the and band later became the standard in in Hodgson's concert program, which is also written by him nearly eleven minute epic " Fool 's Overture " and the coming of spring Davies " from Now On ", which became the standard in the live program of Supertramp.
