Evgueni Nourislamov

Yevgeny Fanilewitsch Nurislamow (in Russian Евгений Фанилевич Нурисламов; born August 11, 1982 in Ufa, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with Avangard Omsk in the HK Kontinental Hockey League since November 2013.

Career

Yevgeny Nurislamow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Salavat Yulaev Ufa From there he moved to the Voltigeurs de Drummondville, for which he was active in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL 2000-2003. Then the defenders remained in North America and made ​​his debut in professional hockey for the San Diego Gulls, for those in the ECHL, he was on the ice from 2003 to 2005. The 2004/05 season he finished, however, in their league rivals Idaho Steelheads. He also came in the course of the season two appearances for the Syracuse Crunch in the American Hockey League. The 2005/06 season he joined the Rockford IceHogs in the United Hockey League and played a parallel time for the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL. During the season, he returned to his native Russia, in which he stood in the following two and a half years for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the Russian Super League on the ice.

For the 2008/09 season signed Nurislamow a contract with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. With his new team, he reached in the KHL debut playing time right away the playoff final for the Gagarin Cup, in which he, however, Ak Bars Kazan defeated with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the best- of-seven series with 3:4 victories. In the season 2010/11 the Russians stood at Atlant in the KHL Mytischtschi on the ice. With Atlant he lost also the Gagarin Cup final. For the 2011/12 season he was bound by his former club Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, but returned in December 2011 back to Atlant.
