2005–06 United Hockey League season
The 2005/06 season was the 15th regular season of the United Hockey League (until 1997 Colonial Hockey League). The 14 teams completed in the regular season each 76 encounters. The point of best team in the regular season were the Kalamazoo Wings, the Colonial Cup won in the play- offs for the first time.

Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Kansas City Outlaws stopped the game operation.
- The Port Huron Flags were added as an expansion team in the league.
- The Port Huron Beacons have been to Roanoke, Virginia, moved and changed their name to Roanoke Valley Vipers.
