2002–03 United Hockey League season
The 2002/03 season was the twelfth regular season of the United Hockey League (until 1997 Colonial Hockey League). The ten teams completed in the regular season each 76 encounters. The point of best team in the regular season were the Fort Wayne Komets, for the first time the Colonial Cup won in the play- offs.

The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Asheville Smoke stopped the game operation.
- The B. C. Icemen stopped the game operation.
- The Knoxville Speed stopped the game operation.
- The New Haven Knights stopped the game operation.
- The Port Huron Border Cats stopped the game operation.
- The Port Huron Beacons were added as an expansion team in the league.
