Favrskov Municipality

Favrskov municipality is a Danish municipality in Jutland. It was created on 1 January 2007 as part of local government reform by combining the existing municipalities Hadsten, mutton, Hinnerup and Hvorslev as well as the southern part of Langå commune ( parish Granslev, Houlbjerg and Laurbjerg ).

Favrskov municipality has a total population of 47 156 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) and an area of ​​540.30 km ². It is part of Jutland region. The seat of government is in Hinnerup.
