Skive Municipality
Skive Kommune is a Danish municipality in Jutland. It was created on 1 January 2007 as part of local government reform by combining the "old" Skive municipality with the former municipalities Sallingsund, Spøttrup and Sundsøre.
Skive municipality has a total population of 47 291 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) and an area of 683.40 km ². It is part of Jutland region.
The municipal office is located in the town of Skive.
