FC Pipinsried

The FC Pipinsried is a German sports club from the Upper Bavarian village parish Pipinsried in the district of Dachau, which belongs to the municipality of Alto Münster.

In addition to the successful football department of the club also offers the sports of curling, tennis and women's gymnastics.

History

The Pipinsried FC was founded in 1967. After years in the lower leagues of football circle Aichach the late 1970s began under President Konrad Hoess, the continuous ascent.

In 1989, the club was the first time in the national league. After the first descent in 1993 succeeded in 1999, the return to the then fifth rate, as of 2012 only sechstklassige division. This division was the small club, then in 14 years without interruption. In the years in the national league Pipinsried played under other against eventual second division side SV Wacker Burghausen, but also against former nationally successful clubs such as FC Wacker München, MTV Ingolstadt or TSV Schwaben Augsburg.

In 2013 the club secured under player-manager Tobias Strobl (formerly at FC Ingolstadt 04 active) the championship and the first rise in the Bavarian League. Stadium

The FC Pipinsried plays its home games at the stadium at the Reichert Hausener road, which lies on the northwestern outskirts of the village, offering about 2,500 spectators. Located on the south side of the playing field a covered grandstand seat, the rest is extended at ground level.

Inside the stadium, the second division TSV 1860 Munich was in August 2010 before 1500 spectators a friendly match against FC Pipinsried from ( Full 6:0 for the Munich Lions ).

Moreover, already the third division SpVgg Unterhaching was twice a guest. While the Unterhachinger won a test match in July 2007, 7-0, the competitive game in the Bavarian Toto Cup in October 2012 lost the host Pipinsried only with 1:2. In April 2014, the FCP will compete again in the Toto Cup against Unterhaching.

Remarkable

Although the village Pipinsried has less than 600 inhabitants - which is only slightly more than one percent of the population of the major district town Dachau - the FCP for decades the most successful football club of the district. Even after the Bavarian leagues reform in the summer of 2012, the TSV 1865 Dachau plays as the second best club a level below the FCP.

Known player

  • In the season 2010/11 ex-professional Marco Küntzel was player-coach at FC Pipinsried.
