Life

Association

Salazar received his first professional contract for the 1998/99 season with his hometown club Atlas, for whom he - played until the end of 2004 - with a semi- annual interruption in early 2001 in the service of Deportivo Toluca.

Around the turn of 2004 /05 he moved to CF Pachuca, with whom he twice each, the Mexican championship ( Apertura 2006, Clausura 2007) and CONCACAF Champions ' Cup (2007, 2008), and once each in the Copa Sudamericana (2006) and Super League (2007) won.

In summer 2008, he moved to CA Monarcas Morelia, where he remained until the end of 2010. After a six-month membership to Necaxa early 2011, he is currently active for the Club León in the second division.

National

His debut for the Mexican national Salazar celebrated in the opening match of the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2003, which was obtained on 13 July 2003 with a 1-0 win over Brazil. Salazar also took part in the finals of the tournament against the same opponent again 1-0 - was won - this time in extra time. His last international match was Salazar on 15 February 2006 in a friendly against South Korea, which was lost with 0:1.
