Francis Kibiwott Larabal

Francis Kibiwott Larabal ( born September 15, 1978 in Kasiela, Baringo District, Rift Valley Province) is a Kenyan long- distance runner who specializes in road races.

After Kasiela Primary School, he attended the Baringo High School, where he was coached by Bernard Kitirit and later ran against top runners like Benson Kipchumba Cherono. After finishing school, he first heard the Running on, as he had no longer coach, and began again only after he had moved to Nyahururu.

In 2003 he was third in the 20 van Alphen, Sixth at CPC Loop Den Haag and won the Dam tot Damloop. After a third place at Egmond Half Marathon 2004, he had to pause because of a typhoid disease. In the autumn he was fourth at the Dam tot Damloop.

Francis Kibiwott Larabal is managed by the manager Jos Hermens. With his prize money, he bought his parents a piece of land in his home district.
