Friz Freleng
Isadore " Friz " Freleng (August 21, 1906 in Kansas City, † 26 May 1995) was an American cartoonist and film producer. He was nominated five times for an Oscar and won four times, including in 1958 with Knighty Knight Bugs, a Bugs Bunny cartoon, and in 1964 with The Pink muckraker, a Pink Panther cartoon.
Freleng was known mainly for his work on the Looney Tunes, a series from Warner Bros. He introduced a cartoon stars like Porky Pig, Tweety Bird and Speedy Gonzales. As senior director of Warners ' Termite Terrace studio, he was also one of the most honored directors.
After the Warner's animation studio closed in 1963, Freleng founded with his business partner David H. DePatie - Freleng Enterprises, the company DePatie, which produced film music and cartoons, including Pink Panther.
Frelengs burial site is located in the Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in Culver City (California).
