History

The Football Sport Club Zwickau was established on 1 January 1990. He replaced which emerged from the communist era BSG Sachsenring Zwickau, whose continued existence after the political changes of 1989 was no longer possible due to the associated political and economic upheaval. Stadium

The home games of the FSV Zwickau were held until 2010 in Westsachsenstadion. Currently, the FSV Zwickau plays its home games at the Sports Forum " Soyuz 31" in Zwickau Eckersbach.
