Gaiman Department

The department Gaiman located in the eastern center of the province of Chubut in southern Argentina and is one of 15 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the north by the departments Telsen and Biedma, on the east by the department of Rawson, on the south by the department of Florentino Ameghino and to the west by the department of the Martyrs.

The capital of the department of the same name is Gaiman Gaiman.

On the territory of the department is the reservoir Florentino Ameghino.
