Garphyttan National Park

The National Park Garphyttan lies west of the Swedish town of Örebro.

Garphyttan is an ancient cultural landscape that has been dominated by agriculture and forestry. Meadows and deciduous forests are surrounded by coniferous forest of Kilsberges. Originally cultivated areas are also now processed using traditional methods. Besides a rich vegetation is especially rare in Sweden dormouse, which is well represented here, the attraction of the national park.

The main entrance of the National Park is located in Svenshyttan. The park is crossed several trails. Also, the trail leads through the National Park Bergslagsleden.
