Gävleborg County
Gävleborg is a province ( län) in Sweden.
Gävleborg located in the southeastern Norrland and covers most of the landscapes Gastrikland and Hälsingland. To Gävleborg also owns a part of Dalarna. The County was founded in 1762 when it was split off from Västernorrland County. It comprised at that time also Härjedalen, which passed in 1810 Jämtland County.

Coat of arms
In gevierten coat of arms, a running red goldbehufter moose is in the first and fourth box in silver with golden antlers accompanied by scattered blue balls and in the fields two and three in black and a raised rotbewehrte and so gezungte golden goat.
