History
The municipalities of General Emilio Aguinaldo had formerly been a parish in the municipality of Maragondon. It was by virtue of decree, issued by the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Manila Fray Aranguren founded on 28 August 1857. Under the decree, the Barrios Batas and Guyong - guyong was separated from Maragondon. The name of the new church was Bailen.
