Germán Gustavo Denis ( born September 10, 1981 in Remedios de Escalada, Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player at the position of the striker.

Career

He began his career in 1997 at the Argentine third division Talleres de Remedios de Escalada. In 2000 he moved to Club Atlético Los Andes in Lomas de Zamora, the relegation in his first season. However, Denis remained with the club until he accepted an offer from Italian Serie B club AC Cesena. In 2003 he returned to Argentina, the first division club Arsenal de Sarandi, which was coached by Jorge Burruchaga. He played there for two years until finally he moved to CA Colón. In the summer of 2006, he followed his former coach at Arsenal, Jorge Burruchaga to Independiente, where the final breakthrough should it succeed under his direction.

In 2008 he was hired by Napoli for around nine million euros. In August 2010, he was delivered in a participatory business to league rivals Udinese Calcio Napoli still owns 50 percent of his transfer rights.
