Gilad Erdan

Gilad Erdan Menashe (Hebrew גלעד מנשה אֶרְדָן, born September 30, 1970 in Ashkelon ) is an Israeli politician.

Life

During his military service in the Israel Defense Forces, he obtained the rank of captain. He then studied law at Bar- Ilan University, was awarded the LL.B. and began to work as a lawyer. Since 2003 he is member of the Knesset of the Likud. From 2009 to 2013 he was Minister of Environment, he is since 2013 the Minister for Communications. He lives in Ashkelon, is married and has two children.
