Gökhan Zan ( born September 7, 1981 in Antakya ) is a Turkish football player.

Club career

He plays in central defense and is due to his stature as a tough defender who has gained a reputation due to its position game at his position. He has become part of Turkish national football team by convincing performances. Before he moved to Beşiktaş, he played for Çanakkale Dardanelspor, where he became known to the larger Turkish clubs for the first time. Since he could not prevail in central defense at his new club right away, he was loaned to Gaziantepspor. There he was able to convince again and came back as an experienced player to Beşiktaş. Since then, he was considered a solid starting players in central defense.
