Gréasque

Gréasque is a commune with 4112 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bouches -du -Rhône Provence -Alpes- Côte d' Azur region.

Geography

The municipality is situated 18 kilometers south-east of Aix -en- Provence. Neighboring municipalities are Gardanne, Fuveau and Mimet. The municipality belongs to no administrative community.

History

The first inhabitants of the area had still reached via narrow paths along the rocks. The Romans built the first roads. Several findings validate the presence of the Romans.
