Gro Marit Istad-Kristiansen

Gro Marit Istad - Kristiansen ( born February 9, 1978 in Voss ) is a former Norwegian biathlete.

Gro Marit Istad - Kristiansen began in 1987 with biathlon and was part of the Norwegian national team since 1996. She won at the 2004 World Championships in Oberhof gold in the relay and at the 2005 World Cup in Hochfilzen gold in the mass start. In the World Cup winning three races. On 3 May 2007, she announced her retirement from biathlon.

Istad - Kristiansen 's niece and cousin of Jon Istad by Sverre Istad.
