HÃ¥kan Malmrot

Håkan Malmrot ( born November 29, 1900 in Örebro, † January 10, 1987 in Karlskrona ) was a Swedish swimmer.

He was the first Swedish swimmer, who won a gold medal at the Olympic Games. At the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp, he was both the 200m breast and 400m breast Olympic champion. In both races, he pointed his compatriot Thor Henning to second place. In 1980 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the international swimming sport.
