Mike Barrowman

Michael " Mike" Ray Barrowman ( born December 4, 1968 in Costa Mesa ) is a retired American swimmer.

In the 1988 Olympics he finished in fourth place still about 200 m breaststroke. Then four years later he was able to celebrate the Olympic victory over this distance at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. At the 1991 World Championships he won 200 m breaststroke also the title. About his parade route he swam between 1989 and 1992 a total of six world records. In the years 1989 and 1990 he was elected to the World Swimmer of the Year.

In 1997, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the international swimming sport. He now works as a trainer in the Cayman Islands.
