Hampus Lindholm

Hampus Lindholm (* January 20, 1994 in Helsingborg ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is since 2012 at the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League under contract and play for their farm team in Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Hampus is not related to Elias Lindholm.

Career

Hampus Lindholm began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of Jonstorps IF, in which he was active until 2010. Then the defender moved to Rögle BK. He went through a rapid development and has established itself for the second year in the first team, which was active in the Swedish second league. He convinced with nine points in 30 games and was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2012 in the first round as a whole sixth player from the Anaheim Ducks.

On July 13, 2012 Lindholm signed a contract with the Anaheim Ducks started over three years. Since then he has for their farm team, the Norfolk Admirals in the American Hockey League on the ice. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he was the first time in NHL squad of Ducks and announced on September 7, 2013 in a 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets be NHL debut.

For Sweden Lindholm took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2012.
