Tim Jackman

Tim Jackman ( born November 14, 1981 in Minot, North Dakota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since November 2013 in the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Tim Jackman began his career as a hockey player with the Twin City Vulcans, for which he was active in the 1999/2000 season in the United States Hockey League. Then the attacker played two years for the Minnesota State University, Mankato. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 in the second round than a total of 38 players from the Columbus Blue Jackets. While Jackman in the season 2002/ 03 exclusively for Columbus' farm team in the American Hockey League, which was Syracuse Crunch on the ice, he was in the following season his debut in the National Hockey League for the Blue Jackets. During the lockout in the NHL 2004/ 05 Jackman was again exclusively for Syracuse on the ice.

In October 2005, Jackman was transferred with Geoff Sanderson from Columbus to the Phoenix Coyotes, the charges in return, Cale Hulse, Michael Rupp and Jason Chimera. In Phoenix, however, he could not prevail. After only eight games in the NHL for the Coyotes winger was issued shortly before the end of the Trade Deadline on the Los Angeles Kings. In little more than a year, Jackman was also performed for the kings only to just five appearances, which is why his contract was not renewed and he as a free agent signed a contract with the New York Islanders in the summer of 2007. In July 2010 he signed a contract with the Calgary Flames.

After three years in Calgary Jackman joined in November in exchange for a sixth- round draft pick to the Anaheim Ducks.
