Harmonia Mundi

Harmonia Mundi France ( Latin for " world harmony " ) is an independent French music label, which was founded in 1958 in the south of France, Arles by Bernard Coutaz ( 1922-2010 ). The range mainly includes classical music and by the sub-label World Village and world music. To label also includes an American section. The German classical label Harmonia Mundi is now part of giant Sony BMG Music Entertainment and is no longer connected with the French Harmonia Mundi.

Successor of the deceased in Arles on 26 February 2010 Bernard Coutaz is his widow Eva Coutaz.
