Helena Kirop

Helena Loshanyang Kirop (born 9 September 1976) is a Kenyan marathon runner.

In 2006, she won the Casablanca Marathon, third at the Ottawa Marathon, second in the Amsterdam Marathon and won the Trecate Half Marathon.

The following year she finished sixth at the World 's Best 10K, second in the Rotterdam Marathon and third parties at the Berlin Marathon. In 2008, she ran to a sixth place at the RAK Half Marathon again as a third party in Berlin.

In 2009 she was nominated as third at the Dubai and fifth Boston Marathon for the World Athletics Championships in Berlin, reached there but not the goal. A month later she triumphed at the Portugal Half Marathon.

In the following season they were each third at the Dubai Marathon and at the Stramilano, presented at the Prague Marathon with 2:25:29 h a course record and won the Nairobi Marathon. In 2011 she finished ninth in Dubai, the Sixth Lisbon Half Marathon, third at the Rock 'n ' Roll Marathon, second in the Portugal Half Marathon and set course records at the Venice Marathon and the Taipei International Marathon. In 2012 she was third at the Tokyo Marathon.
