Hilde Bussmann

Hildegard ( Hilde ) Bussmann (* November 24, 1914 in Dusseldorf, † 10 January 1988) was a German table tennis player.

Life

Bussman was nominated from 1934 to 1951 34 times for internationals. She won two gold medals at the 1939 World Cup. Between 1936 and 1951 it was seven times German champion in the individual; this record was surpassed in 2005 by Nicole Struse, as these won the German Cup for the eighth time.

Hilde Bussmann played before the Second World War the club " Mercedes Club" Duisburg, and 1951 for the SSV upper Kassel, after they first moved to Borussia Dusseldorf and shortly thereafter to Eintracht Frankfurt, with its crew she was German champion three times. From 1947 to 1951, she was out in the German ranking in the first place.
