HK Olimpija Ljubljana (2004)

The Hokejski club Olimpija (formerly HD HS Olimpija, HS Toja Olimpija ) is a Slovenian ice hockey club from Ljubljana, which was founded in 2004 as a junior club of HDD Olimpija Ljubljana and participates in the Slovenian Hockey League.

History

The HK Olimpija was founded in 2004 as a junior club of HDD Olimpija Ljubljana and took the first team of the club game operation in the Slovenian Hockey League on.

2009 HK Olimpija was inducted into the newly formed Slohokej League, whose runner-up of the club in 2011 and 2012 won. Since 2012, the HK Olimpija additionally takes part in the First Bank Young Stars League, the Junior League of EBEL.

The home ground of the club is the Hala Tivoli, which provides 4,500 spectators.
